About NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Bonaigarh College is a premier youth organization that aims to develop discipline, leadership, patriotism, and character among students. NCC provides military training, adventure exposure, and social service opportunities, shaping cadets into confident and responsible citizens.

History of NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) was established on 15 July 1948 under the NCC Act, replacing the University Corps formed in 1917. Its purpose was to nurture disciplined, patriotic youth. Today, NCC is the largest uniformed youth organization in the world, playing a key role in shaping future leaders.
